Hotel has a pillow library, where customers may select the pillow type according to individual preferences. It is also within walking distance to the main train station and the TV tower, with 2 convenient stores just within the traffic junctions. The hotel comes with a public bath which is suitable for customers who want to experience the bath culture. There are vending machines as well, and a rest lounge with self brewed coffee, plus for people who need hot drinks. In the same lounge, there is a manga library as well. The laundry machines are also readily available all on the lounge level. Staff is service oriented and helpful, room is clean and tidy.

The JR Inn Sapporo Kita 2 Jo is a 10-minute walk from the Sapporo train station. For our December 2023 stay, we trundled our suitcases across many icy and some cleared sidewalks and were greeted by very friendly front desk staff. The hotel is spotless, rooms are modern, simple and clean, small by American standards (but larger than many Japanese hotels), and everything we needed was provided. It was fun to pick out pillows from the pillow library!

Good location, 10 minutes walk from JR station and underground labyrinth of shops. Room size surprisingly good for city centre in Japan. Double bed full size and very comfortable, excellent choice of pillows from foyer. Onsen ok

The stay at JR Inn Sapporo Kita 2 from 30 March 2023 to 4 April 2023 definitely exceeded my expectations for a broad range of reasons. The hotel is located in the strict city centre and there are many restaurants and bars with delicious food nearby. I booked my stay at the end of October 2022 (therefore with a six-month advance) and must admit that the price that I paid for my stay was simply excellent. The quality/price factor is very, very, very high for this accommodation provider. Although the hotel is located on a busy street, the room was very quiet, cosy, comfortable and clean. According to my friends its size was quite small, but for me it was fully satisfactory. Interestingly, the bathroom (shower) and toilet are separated from each other. The view was onto the wall of the neighbouring building, but it was no problem for me. The Wi-Fi connection worked very well. Each guest gets a complimentary breakfast that is simple, but tasty. There are two sets of menu. Moreover, the cafeteria staff is very friendly, polite and nice. I have very good memories related to my stay at the hotel and I can honestly recommend it to everyone who is looking for a very centrally located accommodation in Sapporo at a very good price. Had I a chance, I would stay there again for sure. Everything was as it should have been.

I enjoyed a lot my stay here, very comfortable in a very modern japanese style! I appreciate especially the public bath, for a very relaxing pre-sleeping habit! And also choosing the most comfortable pillor from the pillor corner is very nice! The hotel is placed in a very practical area of Sapporo, 10 min walking distance from the JR station.

Location is in between Sapporo station and Susukino area so you can explore both. The parking is 1500 JPY per night. This is the best hotel I've stayed during the trip. Hotel is clean and the room is bigger than normal Japanese hotel room. The separated toilet and shower is awesome. Hotel provide basic amenities and you can get it at the reception area and on a plus side, the brand of amenities is POLA which quite impressive. The selection of pillow is also great, unfortunately, I came back a bit late and not much choice of pillow left but the standard pillow provided is already good.

A great hotel in the middle of Sapporo. The rooms are small but comfortable. It was a short walk to Odori Park where the Snow Festival is based and the bus stop for our trip to Furano. The bathrooms seem clean. There is an Onsen in the hotel but we didn't try it. There is a lounge on 2F with some OK coffee.
